Anti-Ovary Antibody ELISA

Latex Agglutination Test

The latex agglutination test was developed to be able to detect anti-ovary antibodies in the smallest amounts of cervical mucus, uterine lavage fluid or serum.

Test Mechanics:

  • If antibodies directed against ovarian antigens are present in sample materials to be examined, latex particles being coated with this antigen will agglutinate within 1 - 2 minutes
  • Diagnosis is quickly archived and titer of ZP-antibodies can be determined afterwards
  • Test Medium: Cervical Mucus, Uterine Lavage Fluid
